I’m a bilingual storyteller, a vintage treasure hunter, and a natural connector of people. I was that kid who was stealing my dad’s tape recorder and making up my own talk shows. The segments ranged from interviews with my toys, to improvised ballads about ice cream cones :)
As a SAG-AFTRA actress, I’m committed to building community. I’ve appeared in several national commercials, two of which aired in both Spanish and English markets, as well as films that have screened in festivals across the country, including the Los Angeles Women’s Film Festival and the the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
Most recently, I directed my first short film called “Abundance” featuring the real life, vulnerable stories of the ex-politico and pop culture enthusiast Amber J. Philipps. The film is a three part portrait that explores the limitations and radical possibilities of identity. I’m very excited about my return to stage!. In 2018 and 2019 I produced and performed in two live shows, the first called “Echoes” and the second “Chrysalis”. Both pieces showcased a collection of personal journeys through the different phases of self growth, and discovery. Through this community of powerful femme identifying folks, I plan to continue to create spaces where particularly black women can freely tell their stories, expanding upon the representations of black women in media, and challenging perceptions of blackness and femininity.
I’m is currently represented commercially by SBV Talent. Feel Free to drop me a line!
